Exceptional option among 3 stars hotels. Brilliant food, absolutely superb breakfast. Helpful staff, great stay. Perfect and excellent location close to the centre, private parking onsite. And just off the outskirts of York ideal bus into city, the train station and the river.

The breakfast was wonderful and available with adequate portions, the staff were really helpful and affable. Had comfortable and handy location quite near to York town centre. There was Sundaes Gelato nearby, offering quick meals. I strongly recommend the place.

i appreciated the room — it was well-equipped and well-appointed with coffee, a couch plus single bed. very amiable staff, gave a lot of information. the location of the hotel was ideal, down by river.

Great-sized, practical unit with many pillows, and welcoming staff. Comfortable and handy location in a pretty nice area, so close to several pubs, a taxi, and bus stop for regular buses.

Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would absolutely stay here again. Everything was perfect, with very amiable and amicable staff, met the criteria.

Planned to see York major attractions and it was best base for visiting all of them. The location was incredibly comfortable and the stuff were helpful. The property was set in a fairly nice area. Nothing to complain about, the hotel met expectation.

The whole place was reasonably clean and the staff were very friendly. We appreciated triple room with excellent shared bathroom. The breakfast was substantial and enjoyable with plenty of products.

We got triple room with the bedroom, coffee facilities, single bed, had lovely experience here. The hotel staff was amiable and welcoming, they all greeted us.

It was fairly clean, I would absolutely stay here again. I liked staying in this truly exceptional place. I found the hotel's location lovely, next to opposite bus stop to town, good public transport and the river and green space. The food was brilliant and the staff where amicable and helpful.
